Origins of THOMAS COX & ASSOCIATES, INC:

TC&A was founded in 1981 in Kirkland, WA by software engineer Thomas Cox. From the beginning, real-time embedded systems and development of software-based products was a focus. TC&A assisted with development of factory automation systems in the aerospace and forest products markets, and of leading edge medical instruments. Customers included Boeing, Lloyd Controls, and Bruce Franklin, Inc.

The company was incorporated as THOMAS COX & ASSOCIATES, INC in 1991. Its focus continued to be new product development for the aerospace, forest products, and medical device industries in the greater Seattle area.

In the late 1990's, company services became focused on providing project and program management support for firms developing high-tech products. Thomas Cox has Project Management Profiessional certification from the Project Management Instritute. Using PMI principles and best practices, the company now improves odds of project success through implementation of sound management principles.
